one thing though, the muffler was on a car other than a 240, and he cut it off. the cut is fairly rough, and i dont know much about welding. a friend of mines dad has a shop that can weld for me for free, but is it possible to connect the N1 to my stock pipes, after my old muffler is cut off? can the inlet to the N1 be smoothed out enough so that it will be securely welded?

So was it a full N1 exhaust system off of another car and he just cut off the muffler part, or is it an N1 style muffler like the ones they sell on ebay?

Well I was thinking, you could just get a new N1 style muffler off of ebay for like $60 and then go to an exhaust shop and have them make you custom piping for a little bit, or you can just wait, save and then get a full Apexi N1 exhaust system

i dont know if its off a full exhaust, i doubt it. its not the universal, generic can, its the apex n1 muffler, just with no piping. i see them on ebay for like 150 shipped, the generic non-apex ones are like 60. i was thinking of getting just the muffler for 150 off ebay or 100/125 off the dude, then building my own piping. what do you think?

well..if u wanted to connect the muffler to your stock piping, you would need some kind of flanged piece to convert from the inlet size of the muffler to the size of the stock pipe...otherwise, u can just get a whole new custom pipe job that matches the diameter of the inlet on the muffler.
