So its offical this month the 3 slow and stupid will all be about drifting and its going to bring the jdm style to tht mainstream my question is how do we all think its going to effict the culture as it is now: will it help boost it (daughtful ) or will the scene become the new ricer **** and a joke in the import community

good thing none of the idiots will be in the new movie all recruting is being made threw drifting.com . there is one thing that really is going to upset the muscle car guys is theres supposed to be a 67' mustang powered by none other than an rb26 actully the first person they hired was the drift king him self keiichi tsuchiya. and there will be no big name actors in this one witch really suprizes me because the budget for this one is to be larger than the first to put together.

Well if you think about it, Paul walker, vin diesel, jordana brewster and Michelle rodriguez were nobody before Fast and furious either. And besides, Justin Lin (dir.) most likely did not want a big named actor... or couldn't get anyone.

And on a side note, this has been the umpteenth time i've seen this kind of thread on car forums. Relax, it's just a fu**ken movie.

 

all i can say is...... EXPECT A LOT MORE CRASHES. you know everyone's going to try drifting their cars (no matter what type) around streets, parking lots, etc.

 

 

there will be a rise of idiots on the street. but this silly movie makes the import scene bigger and bigger everytime. for those who say they dont want it bigger, is foolish. bigger means more r and d which bring more parts. even though 240 have more than enough, some of you will graduate to better cars. the car you choose could gain more parts availability cause of silly things like more people getting involved in cars. im not for this movie by any means. just understand it helps us more than it hurts us. unless these idiots bring cops more to the forefront, in which case were screwed.

 

I dont think keiichi going to be in it i think hes just there to try to make it real lookinglike he did for initial d
