Hey everyone,

I'm new here but have been following 240s for a while now. I'm hoping to buy one in the near future for my daily driver (don't worry it will still be modified whenever I have money) . I was just looking at an online ad for a 1990 coupe which is advertised as a DOHC engine (as it should be) but looking at the pictures its a SOHC. Were any 1990 240s made with the SOHC engine or is there something shifty going on here? Thanks for the help.

89-90 240s were SOHC, 90-98 were DOHC. Maybe he did a DOHC swap..or a typo...or is lieing

Well S and D are right next to each other on keyboards. Typo is a good possibility.

Thanx Hyjynx, I also just realized that the 90 240s got SOHC engines, I must have forgotten that and though only the 89 got those engines. And here I thought I wasn't going to make a newbie mistake DOH!! The strange thing is that the history check noted that 1990 240s were DOHC, that's one of the things that got me confused. Oh well!
