Some F***er hit me

I'm too pissed / tired to post any details right now, all I can say Stan - thank God you didn't get hit, and thanks for helping me get back home. Here are some pics for the rest of you and I'll post more details later.

crappy pics at the scene of the accident:

Man I know that sucks. I'm sorry to hear it happened for sure.

Thats how I lost my Altima. Old woman in a big a$$ truck pulled into my lane and head on into the center of my hood. Good old altima was distroyed, just after I finised with the header, intake and exhaust install.

Can't complain though. My girlfriend and I where both ok, the altima was smashed into a V in the front but from the firewall back was like new. Broke the chevy's axel.

That insurance money payed for the 240 I drive now. I hope something good comes of it for you too.

I'll try to get better pics today, but basically....

I was parked on a street in queens, and I was discussing something about my car with stan. I'm sitting inside the car, stan is outside with the door about half way open talking to me. Outta no where some jackass in a red (I think toyota corolla, but there was some discrepency as everyone else thought it was a B13 sentra. I'm pretty sure it was a corolla cuz we found a busted corner light from a corolla like 10 feet from my car with alot of shattered plastic.) car flys by, clips my door and keeps going. 3 cars took out after him and he was already gone by the time anyone moved. it sucked. Cops came, reports filed, and then stan bootlegged my door closed. I had to drive home in the rain with no window. Damage report: need new left fender and a new door, and maybe alignment, my wheel was cut all the way left and the door swung around 180 degrees and hit it. *sigh* now I'm stuck without a car until this is all sorted out...

lol I thought about that, but I'm still broke from buying the car and it's only 1 fender and 1 door that need to be replaced and insurance is gonna deal with that, so I'm just gonna let it slide. I may get my bumpers repainted and stuff too if I can get that thrown in. I'll see how much I can get away with.

Hey all I can say is that make sure that u go to a bomb collision center cus it looks like u might have some frame damage. check ur hood lines and trunk lines. make sure that they are even on both sides and that the roof isn't buckled. I know of a lot of insurance companies dont like to pay for what they dont see and the body place only fix's the panels and ur car wont ever be the same. If they fix the panels before they fix the frame it will be impossible to fix ur car. trust me. I've been getting into the estimating business and its pretty shady depending on where u go. And its not only the ghetto shops, many times its the nice one's. Just a word of caution. Find a body shop YOU trust and have the insurence company fix it there. its ur right!

if you see it in person, I am 99.99999% sure there is no frame damage. There was no actual contact with the body, lol roughly 90% of the damage is from my car hitting itself, lol. It actually looks a lot worse in pictures than it does in person for some reason.

anyway I'm taking it to a shop that I know personally on saturday to have them look at it, so I know I won't get screwed. Also I dunno if I'm gonna claim this thru insurance cuz I don't want to have my parents have to deal with their premium going up over soemthing stupid like this, I think I'm just gonna pay for it cash.
