Sound Deaderners?

Sound Deaderners?

Would it b better to take them out or leave them on? wat kind of purpose do they serve? any weigth reduction? wat will the cons be of it removed?

The weight reduction in not like extreme and if you daily drive the car and dont like alot of noise in the cabin, you might wanna keep all the sound deadner intact. Personally I am going to do it cuz I enjoy a "bare-bones" look to my cars/will be painting the sheetmetal.

strip car, remove sound deadener, sand, paint semi-flat black, enjoy teh "race car" feel. - i enjoy it and its funny when people see the inside of my car, cuz you know they're thinking, "That car only has ONE seat,wtf?, no carpet?????.., It must be pretty fast!"

it's personal preference, seems like you could answer that yourself. you can have either a noisy lighter car (50-100lbs) or a quiet car that is good for dd.
