taking fabric off panels

taking fabric off panels

i see people all the time with the door panels all balck with no grey/black fabric on'em, anybody have a write up how to take it off without messing it up? thanks

use a heatgun and razorblade. mine left foamy crap which was a ***** to get off

i just peeled mine off without using a heatgun. took like 5mins.

uh oh.. i got impatient and pissed off so i just ripped it off like crazy and now I have foam everywhere like silviaks2nr. looks budget.

Would a heatgun melt the foam if I tried to take it off now? only 1 way to know for sure right lol

i used the "scrubby side" of a dish sponge and some goo gone. still left some but it is not noticeable. you could try some 000 steel wool

i tested this on my glove box,it came off with a ton of glue left on the glove box, and the glove box has little ridges in it? so even if you take it off it feels wierd with all them bumps on it.anyone no what im talkin about. it makes the glue hard to get off cause its stuck in the little ridges
