Timing chain rattle is one of two things, the tensioner is stuck or broken... mine had sme problem but it was just parked for a while so the oil varnished it so i ran some Castrol SUPERCLEAN over it and put the motor back together and it works

Just bought and took delivery last weekend.
1) Valve cover gasket leak
2) Exhaust manifold leak
3) Crappy rear brakes, rotors/calipers need replaced
4) All dash lights out except for batt/check engine/seatbelt/etc and AC selector
5) Rear wiper not working
6) Hatch does not release
7) No radio/cd player
8) Some rips in the seat seams
9) Some scuffs on the exterior paint and small spots of rust
#s 1-4 and 7 will be getting attention in the next few weeks, the rest to be solved later.

This is to whoever said that even after alignment and stuff the wheels vribrate and pull to the right, im just too lazy to figure out who. This same problem is present in my acura legend. Your problem is you have worn out/broken control arm bushings... mine are broken... speed and louisiana's famous potholes dont go very well... like mixing beer and whisky

8.While brakeing there is a horendous amount of surging that makes the wheel shake back and forth violently -
9.Large passanger side dent in the back corner - Looks like a drifting accident, but it was a girls car, so perhaps just female stupidity -
Quite a few wiring issues -
10.Brake lights sometimes work -
11.Lights sometimes go down -
12.Fuel pump sometimes works -
Current Situation -
Had engine replaced and 5 speed conversion done -
13.Engine that was put in had been raced and had a 100 shot of Nitrous on it (Of corse I was not told this when I purchised it)
14.Runs Very Rich so there is alot of black smoke at times -
15.The person who did my 5 speed conversion used an old tranny so my exhaust leak causes the tranny to heat up, which in turn makes my clutch slip, so as I sit at a light, or in traffic, the clutch starts to slip, and sometimes I cant go anywhere -
16.Idle jumps between 1-2k rpm randomly -
17.Hood has no window washers -
18.Female owned - (Tint banner across the windshield that says "Jills Joy" - Flower seat covers that are now turned upside down. And I randomly find female things through out the car while fixing things, such as chapsticks and nail files.
19. Very deep key marks all down the drivers side (Goes back to #18)
The list goes on, But I am at work, and they are starting to look at me funny for typing so much, as my job requires minimal typing, especially while I am not with a customer.
I may update this at a later time if nessecary to show that my 240 is indeed the ****tiest ever. But I still love her ^_^

blown shocks
no head unit
the thing around the guage cluster is cracked
front facia is tied on with zip ties
front fenders are made of like...tin...and dont fit
paint is faded
have dents everywhere
the rear bumper is shifted to the left a little
big guardrail scar on right quarter panel and bumper
huge dent on sideskirts
interior is ripped up...
i kno there is moree stuff
what is this? therapy?

well, might as well list some things that's going on with my car as of recent.
[1]Shifter feels stiff as of late. Is the tranny about to go out? Maybe just a clutch?
[2]Brakes are going bad.
[3]Leaking oil from the valve cover. Have the gasket already, just need to put it in.
[4]Need subframe spacers.
[5]Driver side seatbelt motor feels like it's dying. Bad wiring perhaps?
[6]Need an alignment.
[7]Exhaust tip has rusted holes.
[8]Cracked fiberglass driver side fender.
