Alright guy's I appoligize for reposting, but I thought this is important info. Nismo produced a crank for the KA that isn't in production, and is a race only crank. This crank is called the FJ24 crank, labelled FJ after the FJ series of engines that came in the first production skyline models cars. This crank was designed for 2.4 litre displacement, and was used for a select few KA's. This is what I want in my KA. FJ/Z/L/ and even KA have many interchangeable parts.

This is what the sr and KA cranks look like in stock form, this is just for comparisson purposes.

UPDATE:
I am no longer attempting to negotiate with SCAT. SCAT doesn't want to waste there time with producing a crank for the KA. Bob claims that they still have honda cranks on the shelf that aren't sold for the K series engines. (Well Bob all I can say is why did you waste your time with Honda cranks anyways, they already come fully weighted in the K series)
So now for new and better things. I posted a thread in NICO to spill the beans on intrest for the Fully counter weighed crank for the KA. It seems that Gabe. Z (devious KA) has lead me to the right path. ED.Pink along with many renound infinti/nissan/datsun enthusiasts have already developed a fully counterweighed crank for the ka24. Gabe tells me it is the best assembly he has seen for the KA24 ( He said and I quote "EXOTIC"). I am going to call the company when I have a chance this week and let them know about our intrest. Gabe claims that since they have already produced the crank, that more than likely they could bring it back to production as long as there is a demand and intrest. The R&D has already been made so production for this crank would be relatively easy unlike scats production and time which they claim would of costed $500,000 to produce the crank (I smell B.S!!!!).
Anyways I will keep you all posted.

Update:
Good News and Bad news.
Good news first. Devious did lead me on the right path to the fully counterweighed crank. ED Pink how ever redirected me to Nissan Motor Sports. Ed Pink no longer reserves the rights to production, Nissan Motorsports does. I spoke with Paul and had gotten into it abit about the crank which Nissan Motors Sports has been thinking to produce it for the market.
Here is the bad news. You can purchase this crank from Nissan Motorsports with a heafty price tag. There are only 20 a year produced in manufacturing. The journals and cap are all redesigned for lower friction. This means the purchase of new rods as well. The bottom half of the engine has to be redesigned with a new cap in order to use stronger larger main bearings. The stroke slightly changes.
Paul is going to get back to me in January with a detailed cost of the internals from the bearings, rods, crank shaft, and piston assembly.
You can give Nissan Motorsports a call they would like to know that there is a demand for this product.
Paul did inform me that there was an older design used that maintained the stock rods and bearings, it has been modified over the past few years for the core and GT divisions.
Lets show a demand so that we can get the price lowered.
