Too Tall for my own Good

Hello everyone. I just had a quick question. I'm 6'5" 200 lbs, kind of a tall lanky guy and i would really like to get a 240. A good friend of mine let me check out his S13 to see how i fit in the passenger compartment and to my horror i barely fit and would not be able to drive it comfortably in the least. Now getting back to my point, is there any way to rectify this situation. I mean with the stock seats all the way back my knees hit the steering wheel. I was just curious as to whether or not the seats could be lowered or moved back or replaced with aftermarket seats that would afford the same type of rellocation. Any tips and or advice would be great appriciated. Thanx in advance.

i'm 6'1 myself and find it a little uncomfortable in my S13. Nonetheless, i find a way to make it comfortable.

not sure what advice to give you cause the steering column sits a little low which means your knees will most likely always touch the steering wheel.

i'm 5'11 and need to have my s14 seat alll the way back. i can drive with one click in, but it's a little uncomfortable.

i'm sure you could always do SOMETHING, but that costs money. do what high tower (?) did in police academy: rip out the front seat and sit in the back

The following works for miata people, but not sure if it will for 240's.

Take out the seat from the car and take off the cover. Take off the mounts as well. Then get some type of electrical knife and start taking some foam off the bottom of the seat. Put everything back together and you should be sitting a little lower. Not the best directions but if you want I can probably find some in-depth ones.

well did anyone ever hear about WHEEL TILT?
i mean thats what i would do if my knees were touching the wheel. and especially on s13, the wheel goes so damn high. its kinda like you sittin in a 18wheeler, the wheel is perpendicular to your knees (well almost).

so try that. if its still uncomfortable, then i guess the 240 is not the right car for you man.. sorry bro.

damn, I'm like 6'3 and didn't really have any problems, of course my seat was busted and the back was stuck pretty far down.

that should be justification for getting a skyline .... you just need a bigger car!
