totaled.... goddammit

I was driving home from oly tonight, and I was changing lanes. This truck was in my blind spot, and I clipped it with my door and fender, then I spun sideways and hit his door with my quarter panel. I immediately spun out about 3 times. I stopped about a foot from the guard rail. It's nobodies fault my my own, so I can't blame anyone, I was just stupid and didn't look all the way on the lane change. My fault. I'll post pics later, maybe tomorrow. The whole driver side is toast. my hood is messed, but the trunk tailights, passenger side, bumper and rear bumper are all good. The car still runs great, drove it home, but the dash is shattered on the drivers side, the wheel is far over to the passenger side, and my clutch pedal has crap bent into it's way.

dont ask, Im not parting it out. I'ma buy one with a blown motor or somethign for cheep. Then I'll switch my good parts over. Too bad, I loved my car. I'm going to post a wanted add, if anybody here has one they'd sell me for really cheep or trade then tel me about it.

It's a base model, no power windows anyways. I found a shell, and I already started payments on it. Check my thread in the gallery. Posted pics of the car after the wreck.

Well I did look, but I still didn't see him. What htey are saying now is that he might have sped out of the exit, and cut over 2 lanes. Maybe he is at fault. THey are doing an investigation to see who is really at fault.

No, I agree that it was my fault, that I changed lanes, didn't see him and hit him. I also accepted that I would be held acountable the the colision, and that it would be payed for out of my insurance. However, a witness in a van claimed to have seen the guy in the truck cut over two lanes, while doing 75+ in a 60. This would put him at fault for the accident. They are studying the skid marks in the road, and the location of the colision. So far, what they have told me is that at the angle he was at when he crossed the median, he would have had to have been changing lanes at the time to him the grass at such an angle. It's the insurance agency that does the investigation to possibly geto ut of paying for the other guys car. Might work out good for me too.
