I read there was a tsb on the timing chain for the s13. I went to the dealership to get it checked out and they said they couldn't find the tsb when they looked it up...

also, my thread in the NA section (NA rebuilding) has been there for awhile. If anyone can answer my question that would be great. Thanks guys

i looked it up here http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/tsb/.
there were only seat belt related tsb's for s13's

 

The timing TSB is only for the SOHC 89-90. You didnt mention what year you have. If you have a DOHC it doesnt apply to you.
