uh oh

i was on the verge of selling my awesome 90 240 but i didnt. my buddy who was ganna buy it got a 96 civic w/ d16z3 motor instead.

soo.. i raced him, and lets just say i left him crying.

now.. my car is sitting in my drive way without the exhaust.

problem: my exhaust seperated form the first muffler completely(stock) so im going to weld it back together temporally until i get a replacement.. any recommendations?

2) oh and also, while i was racing, i realized my car wont go into 3rd without grinding often. i have to wait a half second then put it into third for it not to grind.

3) while in 4th and 5th and sometime 3rd, if i am lettin off the gas you hear a a vaccume type of noise. i hear this also when im in high gear and m not acceleraing as much.

any help.. thank you all for any help in advance.

i

For exhaust, check out the FAQ section, there is a huge thread with pics of different 240sx exhausts. Hope you kept all the racing on the track as well.

As for the grinding, the synchros may be bad, try changing your fluid.

It might be time to replace the slave cylinder or check the clutch fluid.

ok. so i tried to weld my exhaust together, but the metal was so cheap and thin on the stock that i just put holes thorugh my first muffle(piece in the middle, rectangular) soooo,

i need to purchase a new exhuast, but i dont want anything loud yet performance is a must.

and i need, no, want a clutch. It doesnt shuft into gear smooth.

rsr exmag and blitz realize tt are very quiet www.hopupracing.com
it's hard to find a quiet yet inexpensive exhaust. go with 3" for best performance. also hks exhausts are fairly quiet
