uping displacement

are there any stroker kits available for the s13? what can i bore the cylinders out to without weakening the cylinder walls too much.

I wouldn't try boring out the walls of the KA anymore. The block is made of iron, but iron does break. I've seen pics, and the clearance between the cylinders is not a lot. What are you trying to do? Turbo? Going NA?

i think you can go .040 over safely. the one thing is, all the rods and pistons these turbo companies make arent built for an over bore... i know u can get custom JE pistons and carillo rods but thats mad loot. i say just drop the compression with some 8.5-1 pistons from gtpro, then turn up the boost. increasing the displacement is more for all motor ne ways, plus its notoo cost effective. w/e u decide to do, good luck and keep us posted! (what turbo kit r u gunna go with?)

No, unfortunately there aren't any stroker kits for the KA. Yea, if your gonna turbo, go with the low comp. pistons and new rods. .040 is the most I've ever heard of as far as milling goes. By the way, is this a DOHC or SOHC. If its the latter, good luck finding an exhaust manifold.
