used car

hey guys am looking for another 240

i found a sil80 thats pretty good
just a question

what does a soft clutch pedal mean?
like i remember my bro change out his clutch to a performance clutch in an integra and the clutch was soft. like compare to OEM its weird to get used to but u can, just soft like ur have to really balance ur foot.

well the car has that feeling also, its not like steppin on air but just a really soft pedal.

and just to make sure, tips on buyin the car?
help will be appreciated thx

if it has a soft pedal check for leaks in the hydrolic clutch system... bothe the clutch master and slave cylinders...

Yea what he said. A performance clutch should be stiffer, not softer.

uhmmm...brake master and brake booster wouldn't affect the clutch....Have you test driven the car at all? If so, does the clutch engage completely and such? I'm tryin to think of what would give you a soft clutch but all I can really think of is what was already mentioned.
