Question what is this

i know it looks like the seat belt in the pics but it's not. i've never seen this thing before.


this shows you what they look like....sorry had to find these pics off the net i don't have a digital camera.

dude that's the seatbelts. and the second pic is where the seatbelts connect.

i thought it was a seat belt but the end of it looks funny it's like a pointed piece almost. plus i thought that 240s in the back seat only had lap belts. and if it's a seat belt where does it connect to since it won't fit into the seat belt holder.

Yeah, it's the seatbelt. They're really weird to me so I replaced them.

They're optional belts made for baby car seats. The shoulder belt attaches to the lap somehow. I forgot how cause nobody sits back there anyway.

thanks for the info. see i'm tryin to put a carseat back there so that makes me feel a little better knowin that it's not just going to be a lap belt holding it in. now if i can just figure out how to make it all work.


u put the male part in the female part and they click together

The shoulder belt fits into a slot on the buckle of the lap belt.

look i don't mean to sound stupid but i really can't figure out how this thing works. if someone has pictures please let me see them. i put a car seat in my car and i just don't like the way the lap belt holds it i would really like to be able to use that other belt.

last time i checked my rear seatbelts worked just fine
