I just put in some S.tech springs on my totally stock 240sx (temp till I can muster some money for the complete suspension). But I am wondering what should I do next, thats cost worthy and long term ???? Some crossdrilled brakes, b & M short shifter????? Please help. Give me some ideas.

 

-defenitely exhaust.

if going turbo soon, get the 3" catbak exhaust, if not anytime soon just get the 2.5"

its worth the money ($150)

-weight reduction, throw everything out starting from the end of you front seats...

-intake, its $35... cmon...

yea i installed my tein s.techs today along with some tokico monza rs downs shocks that came with cusco camber plates. oh man its like a brand new corner hugging machine. i freaking love it!

 

Get sum sub frame Spacers they will really help you out and they dont cost alot

 

Does the turbo manifold and non turbo manifold bolt up at the same spot on the exshaust, in other words- will a 3" exhaust bolt on a turbo and non turbo the same

 

yes, just get the 3inch turbo cat back if you have any plans for going sr

 

well seeing is how it you will be using a down pipe if your turbo as long as the position is the same it will be the same

 

Should have got coilovers

 

I've been looking for coilovers!!! but I seem to not find any. I would have gotten coilovers insteed of tiens if they made some, but they dont ( I presume because of the stock shock absorbers, they shape and all)

 

Can I bolt up the 3" to the NA??? what size is the gt spec????

 

If you cant find coilovers for your car maybe you need another hobby. Seriously though sorry for being harsh but come on. There are like at least five or ten different models. Check the suspension forum. Your lucky Landho didnt reply first. Hes mean. Just kidding Landho dont kill me.

 

When you say coilovers im thinking the little sleeve with the spring that you slide over the suspension.....which I havent seen yet. But anyways how are you going to tell me to get a new hobby, I've been in the game for 8 years starting out with a sw20, did everything you can possibly think of to it, got tired of it and decided to sell it last month and start with a new platform. Hence the 240sx.

I feel you, I just dont got that much money for the full race suspension yet, which suspension you think is best??? Ohh yeah do you know if the apexi gt-spec bolts right up to the KA motor???
