I have been considering my options, my car was recently totaled while sitting on the street by a drunk driver. They hit the front, smashing hood, fenders, bumper and lights.

Should i get it repaired (i would be s15 front end conversion, myself and ocusin would put it on) and it could get painted.

Or should i just start from scratch? either get another 240 or i was thinking about a datsun 280z and putting like a chevy V8 383 or something in it.

i dont know. does anyone have any advice? all this is considering the frame isn't bent, which im getting checked out tomorrow, if they frame is bent, im not even messing with it?

it is a great opportunity to get front end conversion, and get it pretty much paid for...

 

It's up to you really. If youre comparing it against buying a datsun with a chevy engine, then you're probably more interested in being unique or into drag racing. If that's the case then another rps13.5 isnt the way to go. Make sure you get the s13.5 fenders though for best fitment.

 

Well i dont know, i was also thinking about a sr20 engine in an old 280z, i am not into drag racing, i just want more power than normal. I love the looks of old 240 and 280's.

Isn't the drunk's insurance co. gonna give u the $ for this? In any other case, it's all up to u. How much $ are u willing to spend? How much do u have right now n junk. I LOVE 240's.
