What the hell is this??? rear mounted turbo?!
yeah alot of fbodys run them, its a pita. you loose a whole lot of heat and heat really helps to spin the turbo. the oil return has to have an inline pump, and there is alot of piping and more lag than a normal set up
these have been out for wuite some time now, apparently there really isnt a different in lag and the turbos run cooler from not being jammed in the engine bay...i kinda like the idea

Pressure equals heat.
It takes longer to build exhaust pressure in that exhaust pipe, it's a slow spool. It is much easier for v8 guy's to route to the back of the exhaust rather than modifying exhaust manifolds.
You wont see a whole lot of that kind of modifying happening on domestic or import 4 bangers.

if it was such a breakthrough idea, nobody would be making traditional in-engine-bay turbo kits anymore. that is an interesting idea, and has been around for quite a bit, but nothing to be excited about.
