sup guys,
I have been told that my car has 8 plugs by not 1 and not 2 but like 5 people that swear that 240's have 8 spark plugs and one friend told me that its the 180 that has it, I can understand if people would confuse my car for a 180 but the thing is still I never heard of this there are engines that have two spark plugs for each chamber but still I find it hard to believe that there is a 240 that came with this type of engine.
It would be really cool if some1 can help me out and tell me what engines came with what car and if there is in fact a Nissan engine with dual spark plugs.

-280(I never seen one but its something alot people say exists just like the spark plug thing)

wth? 8 plugs!? Do they even own 240s?

I swear ALL 240SX's and 180SX's and Silvias have only 4 plugs, and thats it.

-Silvia=CA18/SR20DE/SR20DET
-180SX=SR20DE(not sure on that)/SR20DET
-280Z(not SX)=L28 I believe
-200SX?=GA18/SR20DE
-NX-SR20DE(I beleive)
-300zx=VG30DE/VG30DETT
-Sentra=KA24/GA18/SR20DE
-Skyline=RB20DE/RB20DET/RB25DE/RB25DET/RB26DETT

There is probably more but thats all I can tihnk of off the top of my head. And to my knowledge, none of those cars has "dual" sparkplugs

LoL my jaw dropped also, I thought that was crazy but the really funny thing is that most of these people are somewhat mechanics!!!
I remeber my cousin was talking to me and telling me he had a 240 also and that it was 8 plugs so I opened the hood and asked him to show me where they where and he was saying his is different and that its around the injector area and he swore they go there. its amazing I swear I was having my car tinted and the guy was checking my car out and started talking and also said it has 8 plugs.

They MUST have them mistaken with other cars. The only way you will have 8 plugs is if its a V8 lol.

The only 4 cylinder I know of with 8 plugs is a Ford Ranger. They have plugs on the head and the on the side by the exhaust. Dont ask why. But man all those people must be on good crack.

The early 200sx's had 8 plugs( pre 1985) as do some of the late 80's early 90's nissan pick up's.

Finally I seen the infamous engine and a s12 doesnt look anything like my s13 and I have never seen one around from where I am so I find it very hard to believe that some1 would confuse them.
Well I learned somthing new and yes I need to find new friends they think they Know it all LoL.

i was just about to post on what Cheap13 said. Yes, some of the old datsun/nissan cars have eight plugs. My post was about your friends sayin that 240sx have dual plugs on each cylinder.

yep they were talking about the old nissan hardbody pickup motor's,the one's with the z-24 had eight plugs.

yes the old ca18et from the 200sx carries 8 plugs.

the new hemi engines have 2 plugs per cylinder

the 3Tgte toyota engine has 2 plugs per cylinder as well... there are a bunch of other toyota engines with 2 plugs each but i don't recall them
