What is "Offset

i just bought my first set of rims for my 93 240sx. i have

SPORT MAX Racing 962
18 x 7.5 in the front
18 x 9.5 in the back

now what tire size do u guys recommend for then.
they gave me me these tire size

whats your question? offset or tire size? offset is the distance from the center line of the wheel to the mounting surface. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

please read the information in the wheel/tire/suspension forum. you may need spacers to fit your wheels if you ordered too high an offset. those are some very narrow tires btw too.
