yeah i still agree with Artic, show and drift dont really mix. i mean, lets put a whole buch of money into the car and then go out and drift it, possibly recking it and wasting all thayt money.

not being a smartass - I meant it, he should learn how to drive the car first before anything else. Read the post - high school driver. Angel you should know by now how I feel about neb drivers LOL

is it me, or does "show + drift" seem more like "make my car look like a hardcore D1GP drifter... even if I can't even J-Turn"?

there's a bit more truth to what Raine sayz than most might think. A $3000 investment in learning how to drive your car right is probably the smartest thing you can do if you have any aspirations of driving your car hard or fast. I'll admit I've never personally attended any driving schools (I plan to though once that jay-oh-b thing kicks in), but I suspect that you'd probably save urself some money in the long run in terms of repairs. The amount of tickets, repairs, and trouble you'd incur from trying to learn how to drive your car well on public roads can easily surpass 3k. With that said though, I suppose it also rilly depends on where you live. I suppose if you live in the middle of Texas (I'm juss guessing 'cuz I'm in Boston) and for some reason there's a big *** parking lot in ur backyard then things might be different. Imo, first priority after actually getting ur car is yes to get it into safe and proper working order~ then the usual small mods (i.e. exhaust, intake, suspension....) or driving school depending on what ur money situation looks like.

I would say figure out what you want to do with your car in the future. If you think you might do an engine swap later in life don't waste money on the ka. with that said, Don't let other people tell you what to do, build the car to suit yourself and your style. Just my 2 cents.

i just thought about it some more. your first priority should always be new rims and tires. then suspension, then some engine mods, and build up more after that. and if you wanna be jspec, i'm tellin you guys. red bride seats!!!! no matter what color your car is ! REEEDDDDDD!!!! hahahahahhahahaa

dude u forgot suspension!!! that's the most important when it comes to drifting, u need to be able to handle the car!! no point in having all those looks and power but the ride is a bumpy b*tch, it's like a rodeo on a wild mustang!!..
u don't want to understeer into a guard rail...

with that said, KOUKI is the SEX!!! mad SEX yo!! HARDCORE!!
yeaaahhhhhh!~!!!

suspension should be priority... looks is looks (inside or out) and enginework - like Sleep said - is pointless if you're actually planning on driving the car hard
