so i want to buy a 240 and i found a 91 with 110,000 miles on on the chassis. it has a sr20 in it with a few other little things. i wanted to know what is the most i should pay for it and how low i should talk him down to. thanks.

You can't ask that without a LOT more information. Show us pics and send us more info. Without actually seeing the car there is no way to tell you what it's worth.

the thing is that there isnt much info on the car. i found it on autotrader and the pics are kind of small. i think im gonna check out the car sometime this week.

p.s. how likely is it that car has a sr20 tranny along with the engine?

if the car is running and has the SR20 in it, it seems that it would have the SR tranny in there...find out more info (call, email, go ask in person, whatever) and get back to us

GET A VIN NUMBER AND CARFAX IT. or I can do it cuz I have unlimited left for a week or two. Just give me the VIN. ASk for way more info on it and give us pix. I just paid 2k for a stock 91 base fastback 5spd with 120k PERFECT interior and great body. Silent engine. But yeah I'll carfax for any of you guys jsut let me know.

 

CARFAX + actual visual inspection + extended road test is the best way period. Some people don't report fender benders i.e. my car - on the inside of the rear left fender, there's tell-tale slide hammer holes and bondo spots
