Ok... i have second thoughts about buying a 240sx.... i was hoping i can learn many things before i buy one... i wanted a 89 coupe cause i like the coupe look and its cheap... but then i still dont want that one cause of the "pop-up heatlights" .... Is there a conversion for this or should i go stick with the s14 body cause i like the s14 but its a lil pricey.... what are the headlight conversion options i would like to know?


Now ... i have "third" thoughts.... i just read that you cant make a rb25 powered 240 streetable... the only option is to bribe the smog checker guy.... i live in cali... i dont know if i can bribe someone over here so do i have anyyy other options?

 

there are many hedlight conversions dude. the Eastbear headlights, R32 front conversion, S13 front conversion, S14 front conversion (both type of headlights) and S15 front conversion. the most expensive one of these is the S15 front conversion. If u run a search u will find wut u need on all these conversions. o0h yea and u can bribe the smog guy here in cali. My friends do it all the time

 

I've seen a 260/280 zx front end put on a hatch. It looks hella cool

 

if u got the right money, u can do just bout nething to a car really. Hell u can put a G35 front conversion on a 240 probably! just gatta get a custom bumper and **** haha, expensive.

 

how much is a s14 conversion... or would i rather get a s14 with high miles and drive it for a year till i have enough money? and list how much the other conversion would be also please

 

hmm..S14 conversion u can probably find for a lil less than 1g, S13 conversion for a lil over a grand. S15 conversion over 3 grand (EXPENSIVE) R32 & R33 conversion around the same price as the S13 conversion. And the eastbear headlights cost about...600-800 dollars i think.

 

S13 conversions should not be over a grand there are tons of shops that sell complete kits for around $800. Plus I'd say a S14 conversion would be more since it'd have to be custom built by lots of cutting.

 

Well the shops around here wont go lower then a grand for a S13 front conversion. And the S14...that was actually the price for a S14 zenki to a Kouki front, so Nevermind on the S14 price

for wat car? a s13? or a s14? i dont think u can put a r32 clip on those cars unless wit sum major welding action goin on it, but i believe VIS (VIS = Crap company) makes a r32 look-alike bumper for the s14

Here is a fixed light conversion that I have on my car. I still have my molds if any of you guys want some. I am doing a completly new front end on my car and I have some temporary brackets on there right now thats why it looks like it dosn't line up but it actually fits very well, its just a matter of the brackets.
