There are many different paths you could take. Why don't you try searching? Then come back if you have any specific questions.

In all seriousness:
How long have you been driving?
How long have you been driving RWD?
Is this your first or only car?

It sounds like you're gearing up to strap on a rocket pack when you haven't yet mastered Moon Shoes.

do some searching on skyline engine types. you'll find the one you want and it won't be RB26dett.

stuff made in japan, not jus cars either

EXAMPLE: sr20 is a JDM engine cuz it was made in japan and then shipped here

KA24 is a USDM engine because it was made here in the united states

Ok well you will need alot of money. If you do an engine swap like an SR or Rb just stick alot of performance on there and you are good to go maybe. If you want ot make the stock KA than thats a different story. I would stick a LS1 V8 in it and save some money.

Save some money, HA! That's a good one.

Do you know how much fabrication is involved in putting an LS1 into a 240? Not only would it require custom mounts, driveshaft fabrication, etc, but wiring it would be a nightmare.

Also, the motors themselves run about $4500!

I know it could be done but what's the point. LS1's belong in F-bodies and Corvettes.

question: my friend told me that the rb25det(the engine i orginally was interested in) might be too powerful off the launch and i would spin for a while. so he told me if i do go that route then i should and weight to the back as to get more traction...is this true. if so wont the extra weight slow me down?if so what are the differences in the RB and SR... is the SR lighter or somthing...(he also told me the RB is heavier so that might effect where the weight is)and if i go with the SR20 will i get the same effects as the RB25det?
