hey, i was just wondering about an exhaust i saw/heard on a car the other day. it made an awsome "hydraulic push" niose whenever the driver changed gears. it sounded really cool. my friend knows the guy and told me he put push pipes in it, and he described it sort of like a blowoff valve. so idk, does anyone know what this might be. was it a blowoff valve u think, or what? it sounded really kool and i was thinkin of gettin one for myself. it sounded just like on gran tourismo 3, the race cars when they change gears, if that helps describe it

Hmmmm. Never heard of em. There are electronic speaker kits that make the blow-off sound. But I've never heard of push pipes.

 

if the car was turboed, its a BOV...if it wasnt then its one of those ebay "bov sounding" thingies

 

what is this "ebay bov sounding thingies? cuz i wanted to get that sound, but i dont have a turbo. or do i need a turbo for this thingy too?

 

just go to ebay and type in turbo and you can probly find it it like clips to your exhaust tip and it says it makes a bov noise its like $25

 

yea, just go searhin on ebay. It isnt my cup of tea though...

 

maybe you should have your friend ask the guy what it is.

i tried that...i cant seem to find one. the closest thing is a fake whistle turbo sound. which isnt really what i wanted. i wanted the bov sound. cuz i cant afford a real turbo. plus im only 16, and my parents wont let me get a turbo even if i could afford one

go to that site.... its on e-bay and what every one was talking about just a little thing u slide in your muffler and it makes a BOV sounds... $25 buy it now... a waste of $25 i think
