240sx is the name of the American Version of the S chassis series (s13 and s14). 240sx derives from the american 2.4L KA24(D)E. The 180sx is in Japan. It uses a 1.8L engine. The real S13's in japan use the SR20DET engine. The S13, S14, and S15 are generally known as Silvias in Japan.

The 180sx look exactly like the 1992 240sx hatchback version. Only difference is the engine (and RHD and the 1.8L is possibly turboed, i forgot). Stanza is totally different.

Stanza 1992

-------

180sx

is basically the 240sx hatchback here in america.

-------

Sil-80 (pronounced Sil-eighty):

has the front end like a S13, and a rear like the 240sx hatchback
-------

S13:

has the front like a sil-80, and the rear of the american 240sx coupe.
-------

1-via (one-via) OR American 240sx coupe

Rear is like the s13 (coupe), and front of a 180sx (pop up headlights)

this is all kinda confusing until you really know and love Silvias

The way I worded the explinations might be weird, but I described each picture TO the picture above it (if you get what i mean)

I've seen something that looks more like a Stanza coupe do they make these? or only in Japan? I might have gotten this confused with the sil80.. hmm

that "Stanza coupe" that bomb is talking about, well could be a stanza coupe if they made it. If no, it's probably the S13.

Stanzas were only available in sedans and wagons.
