If you're intalling an ebay chip thing, don't... it doesn't do anything.

^^^it does. i didn't buy the ebay thing but i found out the resistor ohms used, 4.7kohms, and i put one in. well it makes a slight but noticable difference 4.5-5k+ my car used to slow down and not pull much top end. now it has it.

you buy the resistor, unplug the IAT harness, bend the leads on the resistor so it looks like a U, then insert the leads iinto the harness side clip, put take over it to seal it, then you cna let it dangle or secure it to someplace. and if your keeping the stock airbox i would seal up that connector with tape so it doesn't get dirty

This may not be good for your car... Do a search on it. You will find alot of people giving very valid reasons why you should not do this.

Always showing too much cold air, dumping too much fuel, running to rich, ect, ect....

It's a "performance" mod for those who dont know better. Then something goes wrong with the car & they post on here wondering why.

lol well you know what. my butt dyno sees a difference. answer yes or no does it in fact increase power/acceleration slightly. cuz i think it does. and my car is a $200 beater so i don't give a **** about it. it's my first 240 which i'm gonna ahve fun with. the engine is suprizingly running good.. i misshifted today. all my gears grind when i shfit to fast so it gives me toruble and i hit 2nd from 3rd.. yeah i hit 8krpms. i was expecting the motor to blow but it's still running strong. my next 240 i won't do this.
