This has me thinking, to be cool I think i'm gonna be the 1st person to have triple exhaust. 3 huge 4.5 inch fat cans sticking out the back. That would be awesome.J/k.
I asked this same question about 2 weeks ago.The best thing about it is I live in a town of about 4000 people. I have to go through the pain of seeing 20 civics and acuras driving up and down the same road all night long. The one civic I thought was kind of cool has dual exhaust. Now I can laugh at him for paying more and losing power. To think I almost liked a honda.

This is really a lame thread! Dueling is when you have swords or pistols and try to kill each other.
Dual exhausts are not found on 240s and other 4 cylinder cars because the exhaust manifold exits the exhaust all on the same side of the engine block. Just because there are 4 cylinder cars that have dual MUFFLERS doesn't make them DUAL exhausts. Boxers engines or V8s can be reasonably equipped with dual exhaust. Three exhausts? That is just dumb...

Any inline 4 cylinder (note this discounts flat boxer engines like Subarus) will almost ALWAYS come from the factory with a header that feeds ALL the exhaust into one pipe. Any car company or aftermarket supplier that makes inline 4 cylinder headers that feed into two separate pipes is doing so for show, not power, as discussed above. Therefore, any I-4 car with two exhaust tips simply has a dual muffler set up - the pipe splits at a Y-joint before the mufflers. This looks good (based on your opinion) but may be heavier. This includes the S2000, and some Accords, which only have dual muffler systems, NOT true dual exhausts.
End lesson. I know it might be trivial, but thought I'd get it spelled out
