240sx in good condition are hard to come by around my neighborhood. so when i was lucky enough to buy one in good enough condition i jumped at the change. the only thing is the car is manual windows, locks and mirrors. i dont know if im gonna be comfortable with that. so i was just wondering if it would be too much work to swap the manual door set with a power door set. is it just a swap in swap out type thing or do you have to get new electronics? i know to convert power mirrors you have to get a center console switch. what else is involved? has anyone else done this? thanks for any input i appreciate it.

ummm...i dont care if its light or not. i dont goto the track and no ones timing me from school and back so being light isnt important. its a daily driving car, so i need creature comfort. but thanks for the advice....

 

If you get everything from the power doors (including harness), you should just be able to swap everything over.

 

haha dude. your bryan, the guy i've been sending emails to about buying ur 240. i've been waiting to hear from you but never have. you need to check ur emails. anyways are you still selling your car? cause i still wanna buy it. in the email i recently sent you i was offering $2500 and my car since you said you need a car to drive in the mean time. i just need to know if your interested, cause its cool if your not. haha well thanks for the advice on the power windows swap. i hope to hear from you.
