Won't start.

Ok, I get in my car today to go to the store. Everything is cool. *Keys in*, go to turn the ignition. and I hear a click click sound coming from under my car :S, not one click but like lots. I dont know what is going on, I took my battery and got it tested and charged, Its fine. still wont start, My friend who is in college for mechanics said it could be my battery terminals? There all ****ed to ****. he said it couldnt be my starter, Becuase he said if it was the starter it would click once and thats it.

Any info?

im a mechanic this usually happens when the battery is almost dead if your battery is ok then try cleaning the terminals and one question if the battery was ok why did you charge it? and did it start up ok after you charged it?

also try checking the red power cable that goes from the battery to the fuse box and the starter i doubt that those cable would be damaged but it can be a posibility and if it isnt that then it has to be either bad battery or bad terminal connection if cleaning dont work try using a known good battery to make sure.

have you tried jumping it or push starting it? if your alternators fine it will start up one of those ways. well technically it will start up even if the alternator is gone but wont run long. push starting saves lives tho lol. give it a try.
