Would this even work?

i know some people swap in the fwd sr20det's into the new 200sx..but would you be able to swap in a sr20det into this...w/ out much problem?

what are all the chassis that the sr20det can easily be swaped into?

Yes, you can. But you will need the same RWD SR20DET that you would swap into a 240.

The FWD 200SX's were just inaccurately named. They have no chassis in common with any other car sold anywhere in the world with the 'SX' designation. They are the two door sentra.

The 1987 200SX is an S chassis car. It is the S12 and was the predecessor to the S13, S14 and S15. I only know of one SR20DET swap in the US... but can't remember the details.

Check out the classic200sx forum on yahoogroups and you should be able to find the information on this swap.
