so i was driving down a four lane road going about 35 and a big truck was in front of me and he swirves into the right lane fast with out using his blinkers and i didnt see a brake light at all and in front of him was a truck trying to turn left so i had about 20 feet to brake going 35mph, i couldnt get into the right lane so i slammed on the brakes and they locked up and i slide into his rear bumper and now my car looks like this.

the pictures not that good but there a bunch of red on the bumper from the truck. it looks repairable. but i need a new front cross member, radiater, battery, hood, the fenders and front bumper are still good. im having trouble getting the front cross member out, its not welded in or anything is it? theres a pignose in the junk yard so i think im gonna put the pignose front end on.

ive got the whole front end off right now and we are trying to get the crossmember out, after that it should be alittle bit easier. well im going pignose now and will some of the chuki parts mix match with the zenki parts. this is what i plan to get. i have the chuki fenders already, zenki lights, zenki hood, zenki crossmemeber, and zenki bumper. i pretty sure that it will fit. am i right?

i thought it was called the front crossmember or something like that. so its called the radiater support? and yea i just figured out its tacked welded all the way around. what i have to do now is drill through the weld an chissle it out with a flathead and hammer. its gonna take awhile. man this sucks lol. i was driving my 240 a couple of days ago fine and now i look in my garage and its in peices.
since my cars not been to shop yet ive been painting the parts i got from the junkyard. i got the bumper and lights to come out good but im having trouble with the hood. i put about 3 cans of white on the hood and ive put about 3 cans worth of clear coat on the hood and it still barley shines, so i guess i just have to keep adding more. and how to do get the lines from the spraycan out? when you look at it in the sun you can see all of the spraycan marks. will that go away with more coats or does it go away if i buff it?
