wtf? car stalling?

I searched, but didn't find the answer...sooo

Last night, while I'm driving my 92 240FB, I'm approching a light, so I slow down, press the clutch in, turn right, and the car just DIES. So I'm like wtf...start it again (in the middle of the road..lol) and keep driving. This happens at least 6 more times, when I'm driving through my neighborhood on my way home. It just dies, turns off, for NO reason. It happens when I push the clutch in, and slow down to turn, or stop, or whatever. The whole car just turns off. Its weird because all the little lights in the gauge cluster (gas, seatbelt, ebrake, oil, etc) will light up, and thats when I know its happening. My steering wheel locks up, and the car just turns off. Its weird as hell. Anybody have any ideas? I'm not to car savvy yet.

it could also be the alternator like toycar said. Is your battery weak? cus if the alternator is bad your battery wont get charged. but i say try what S13 240 did and clean the throttle body. hopefully you get this fixed, good luck

my dad tells me that stuff is bad for the engine. Destroys sensors, can damage pistons and crap. Burns really hot. I would think just take it off and clean it to be safe.

Its not too difficult to take the throtte body off, its just time consuming. Just make totally sure not to scratch the surface where the butterfly sits or you will never get your idle right. Anyway its just my 2 cents... personally i would do it the right way, but whatever works for you , go for it
