personally i think BRĀKLEEN sucks. it really doesnt do as well as some other things ive seen. I dont mean to flame as much as i do, but bare with me. I prefer this stuff made by a brand called superx, or theres this stuff called ID RED. Both of these arent cheap, but they get the job done and then some!. If you like BRĀKLEEN, go for it, but i like ID RED the best. We use it at work, and theres not much ive used it on that it wont dissolve. Come to think of it, the only thing it doesnt dissolve is the metal itself!

Hey guys, I havn't been on since I asked the question, sorry it was a couple days. I cleaned my tb, and I did notice a difference in how the car was running, but to my dismay, it didn't cure the sickness. I also put some fuel injector cleaner into my gas tank (some expensive kind I sniped from my dad, he uses it for his 95 impala ss...). And that doesn't seem to have helped either. It has actually gotten worse. When I press the clutch in, the RPM's just drop. All the way down to zero. And the car turns off, its quite scary, and I think I'm going to have to stop driving it till I fix it. IF the car doesn't die when the clutch is it, it idles at about 500 (i.e. if I am at a stoplight). My precious 240 is sick.

WOW ive never heard of that before in my life! ... youve got me stumped... Well... take off the vacuum line to the brake booster, and pour some seafoam in it,run the car and keep pouring, if that doesnt help talk to some more ppl

Sounds good, I'll give it a try. Do you think I could maybe need new fuel injectors? Or something along those lines?

My car is doing the same exact thing. I have been told i need a new idle air control valve. I raised the idle and it doesnt stall anymore but the idle still goes up and down randomly and everyday is getting worse and closer and closer to stalling randomly again.

Brake cleaner and carb cleaner act the same. They're supposed dry up quick but remember to use a clean, lint-free rag to clean it. I used carb cleaner and it worked good. Don't use to much or you're exhaust will start smoking, it will go away but dont do it before a smog check. If it does it later on after this then you have another problem.
