Hey, AWesome write up, very detailed!

The thing about your shifter, it's not messed up, you have a short shifter installed. So the c clamp is not needed with the short shifter kit.

Yeah, I found that out after the fact. So I don't need to put a C-clamp on when I put it back? Wonder how I can tell what type of short shifter hmmm?

It looks very similar to my C's short shifter as in the shifter design and also the square block.. except from your pictures I do not see the mounting tabs under the block..

this is awesome, if not for this guide, i'd still be outside in the cold figuring out how the hell i get that upper wiring harness out, i have to say though, i'm not putting an SR20 or any form of the RB series engine in my 240, right now i'm just swapping a dead KA, with one that will hopefully last me until i can get a (this will probably **** off alot of purists) Ford 302 up and running so i can swap that in

i think it would be pretty awesome, and it would also allow me to get rid of the pcm, so alot less wiring to do
