Hey, AWesome write up, very detailed!

The thing about your shifter, it's not messed up, you have a short shifter installed. So the c clamp is not needed with the short shifter kit.

positron 03-15-2008 07:06 AM

Yeah, I found that out after the fact. So I don't need to put a C-clamp on when I put it back? Wonder how I can tell what type of short shifter hmmm?

whowutwut 03-15-2008 08:18 AM

It looks very similar to my C's short shifter as in the shifter design and also the square block.. except from your pictures I do not see the mounting tabs under the block..

hey bro do u have one of theis for an rb20 swap????

Rustybirdcage 10-04-2009 12:32 AM

this is awesome, if not for this guide, i'd still be outside in the cold figuring out how the hell i get that upper wiring harness out, i have to say though, i'm not putting an SR20 or any form of the RB series engine in my 240, right now i'm just swapping a dead KA, with one that will hopefully last me until i can get a (this will probably piss off alot of purists) Ford 302 up and running so i can swap that in

Biggamehit 10-04-2009 03:13 AM

kewl do it..

do a write up on it.

Rustybirdcage 10-04-2009 03:16 AM

i think it would be pretty awesome, and it would also allow me to get rid of the pcm, so alot less wiring to do
