it's my understanding that the difference between chp whp ranges from 15%-25% or so.
it would seem logical to reduce as much of that loss before you build the engine up, be it n/a or forced induction.

Yep, getting a lightweight flywheel, you can also use a 2 disc clutch and run no flywheel, but that's not recommended, LOL!

Lightweight driveshaft, lightweight wheels, balancing the engine . . .geeze, there's a lot that can be done, I'm not sure of it all. Lightweight engine internals . ..

You sure you're gonna wanna focus on power first before you tackle anything else? I would focus on handling/braking before moving into a turbo setup or even modifying the powertrain at all.

I was about to say, what good are brakes if your tires are just going to boil themselves off of your wheels? LMAO!

i should also clarify that the 15%-25%, is for rwd, fwd is a bit less and awd is a bit more power that is lost.

dont let anyone on this forum tell you how to build your car. Its your car, ya they are going to give you info and ideas. But in the long run its your wallet and your money. And if you build what they want you to build youll never be happy. Its hard ya to start out when you dont know much about what you want. But do the research. Everyone has their own oppinion and their own views. Nobody thinks the same way. If you try something that doesnt work then change it adn go a different route. Ya its going cost more but once youve gone through it youll know everything youll need to know about it.

im not knocking anyone on here, just putting my 2 cents in. Ive been in your position before

If you have the tools and knowledge you could hit 200hp n/a. Under 2k. Maybe even 1k. Depends on how much you do yourself.
