KA-T 2k Frontier

My friend has a 2000 Frontier with the KA24DE and asked me about turbo-ing it. I told him Nissan would know best, but they'll probably try to sell some Nismo turbo for $5000. There's no import auto shops, or any for that matter, other than Kragen's, and lube shops, so going to a specialist is out. I told him I'd ask on here and let him know. He was pretty vague about it, but asked me to get some info. So...

A) i know the 240sx KA can easily be turboed, but can the Frontier (is it the same general setup)?

B) if the answer to A is yes, will the same brands fit, and how much would one cost to install (he does his own work, so price is just turbo)

i didnt search cuz i figured nothing like this was at all on the site (and i observed there was nothing like this in the KA-T discussions. please

Honestly, if you can't answer those two questions yourself then there is no way either of y'all are ready to turbocharge any vehicle. Have a skillful mechanic put in a titan 5.6 motor in the frontier and be happy

i just talked to him more. turns out he just learned about turbos in his auto class and actually made all these 'plans' before actually researching anything. didnt know turbos cost lots of $. i think i geared him away from one though.

There are some threads about turboing Frontiers on KA-T.org. It looks like all the parts will match up fine. Just piece together a kit.
