I don't think it would be mandatory, but considering it would be a good idea and its not an expensive upgrade you might want to do so.

Donny(Biggamehit) or Spence(silviaks2nr) would know the answer to this as they are very familiar with the KA-T set-ups.

yea if you would like to adapt an aftermarket FPR you can buy the adapter or go with an top feed setup...

the stock FPR ( same as SR20) is fine up until you get around the 15psi or so range i would say

well i thought of somthing else......why do people put 300z fuel filters on there 240s does that help? i mean if your stock filter is clean then does it really matter how big it is? just some things i would like to know.

they are slightly larger but what i think made this theory run wild is.......... many people just had dirty clogged filters after 16 years lol and then someone said hmmmmmmmmmm let me add an 300zx filter and wammo.. better response and gas mileage.

I remember reading on the article of installing the turbo240.com fuel system and they said that the stock fuel filter is larger in size, it can filter out better and can flow alot quicker wich is better for a turbo application.
