right now im running open dump tube so the sound will change a bit when i run it back.... well than again it will be totally different with the holset all you will more spooling do to such and large exhaust housing almost acting as an little muffler. Turbo KA's are WAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay much quieter than N/A setups

engine bay was clean , but its under construction for my new turbo that im still waiting on parts for.

 

sounds good. a litte odd "liquid" distorted sounding... maybe just the mic on your camera. anyways what are you doing as far as timing control?

 

i back it off to 15*.. im happy at 8 to 10 psi... with that amount of boost and turbo size, its fine....... i love my response and extra boost of power just right.

yeah i can tell you retarded the base timing lol. did you get a knock light on it? you probably get some unaudible knock under high load even with it retarded 5 degrees. Maybe you should look into adding an msd btm, or use a greddy emanage ultimate and get rid of the silly safc :P

 

na bro... i have never had an knocking issues.. i just don't have a need to go beyond that psi level lol and its been proven beyond 10psi ( also depending on turbo A/R, size etc) is when you have to look into all that..

and all the e-manage does to most guys is keep them off the streets becuase there are some many levels to e-manage that is not needed for low-end setups/ and the end user doesn't even know how to use them for the most part ( because of fear of screwing something up). the highest that ill go is power FC or Bikirom...emanage really should not even be purchased if you are not going with injectors bigger than 550cc.
