Captial Driving Club is having an autocross on Sunday August 1st at Harry Grove Stadium, Frederick, MD.

Members Fee: $20 in MD
Non-Member Fee is $25 in MD

If you are not a member you can be put on the list if you join on the day of the event. Annual dues are $25, which automatically makes you a member of the Triumph club.

This autocross guarantees at least 6 runs (3 practice runs in the morning and 3 in the afternoon).

If you have to leave early, we can give you 4 runs in the morning and count the best of the four runs as your time.

Hey I live in frederick any 240SX guys gonna be there?

 

Last time we had a white 240 SX very nicely set up. No major engine mods, but many handling mods (susp, brakes, etc)
So far, we have S2000, WRXs, STIs, Triumph TR6, Mini Cooper, and many more.
Let me know if you want to be added to the list and I will put you down. There's a lot of people signing up. I already have 30 cars and I can only host 50.

Crap! I totally missed this thread!

A friend and I drove by on the highway and saw you guys setup down there! Totally wondered what was happening! We were THIS CLOSE to turning off and going down to check it out!

 

You should have stopped by. We could have made room for one more. We were there since 7.15 setting up in the pouring rain. We had approximately 46 cars. Only one 240 showed up. This is his second autocross with us.

We have another autocross in manassas in 2 weeks. Saturday August 14th.

May be will see you there.

 

Damn! Well, I definently missed out on that! I would have loved to have stopped by! I was actually in my RSX S. Would have been interesting! When are you planning on another event at the stadium? Or is it too early to ask?

 

September 4th is the next one. If you want to join us in Manassas, the lot is much bigger.

Werd. I'll check back with ya on that! I dont know if I can make the Manassas event but I'll be sure to try and make it out for the next event here in Frederick!
