Don’t know if any of you all have ever been to an Import Face-Off, but there’s going to be one in Houston on Sunday, January 23rd. Here’s the flyer…
Drifting will take place on a 3/8th mile Oval track and will run both clockwise and counter plus driving through the infield in a slalom type setup, then also ride up onto the banking. It's not a road course, so kind of like Irwindale.

Over 25 classes including truck and bike categories. Classes: Best Interior, Best Paint/Finish, Best Engine Bay, Best Display, Best Mitsubishi, Best Toyota, Best Nissan, Best Mazda, Best Euro, Best Civic (amateur), Best Civic (intermediate), Best Civic (pro), Best Accord, Best Prelude, Best Acura (amateur), Best Acura (pro), Best Other Import (Subaru, Hyundai, etc.), Best Domestic Sports Compact, Best Domestic Car, Best Domestic Truck/SUV, Best Import Truck/SUV, Best JDM, Best Luxury, Best Exotic, Best Bike, Best Club Representation $200, and Best of Show $300. Trophies for each class.

FWD Quick 8 $500 total - $300 1st, $100 R/U, $50 2nd R/U, $50 3rd R/U
Street Class Quick 8 $500 total - $300 1st, $100 R/U, $50 2nd R/U, $50 3rd R/U
All Motor Quick 4 $300 total - $200 1st, $100 R/U
Bracket ET 1 $100

Motorcycle Bracket $100
There will be several other activities going on like a burnout contest, vendors, giveaways, models, DJs, a Usaci stereo crank it up contest, a $200 b-boy battle, $500 drifting competition on the oval track, and professional midget wrestling ( www.bloodymidgets.com ). Also, SaiConcepts.com is hosting the official IFO pre-show party at club HUSH on Saturday, January 22nd, the night before the show. Many out of town caravaners will be meeting up there before the race. Club directions are at HushOnline.com , or you can call 713-330-HUSH.

Less than a week!
Anyone going to the pre-show party at club HUSH the night before the race? If so, they’re making it 18 and up that night. It’s actually a 21 and up club, but Hush is being nice this time, letting 18+ in.
