Unless you have an upgraded fuel system with nitrous or forced induction it will do absolutely nothing. Not to mention it will take a good bit of work (afr tuning) to compensate for the larger mafs.

stay with stock MAF, your just gonna give yourself a headache. you cant just slap a different MAF on and expect it to work. The ecu needs flashed for that MAF or you need someway to tune like silvia said.

+1, just stick with the stock unless you are ready to have it tuned (and you actually at the tuning shop, because your car won't run without the tune)

well i dont kno abot complete waste if your gettin it chipped i have a z maf on my car with a chipped ecu from efi thats not tuned for the that maf and it works fine..its pretty much plug and play if u can read a wire diagram of your car and you'll have 2 wire's left over which is a extra ground and a shield wire but its up to you though.. it probaly wont benefit u if your running the stock intake mani

The Z32 maf is put in place to compensate for the large gulps of air that your motor could possibly pull in under boost. In no way will your NA motor utilize a N62 Maf brother. if you want to go bigger just get a N60 from a Maxima

You guys need to study engine load.
A larger diameter MAF reduces load on an engine increasing peak HP and rev range.
Thats why people that boost go larger on a MAF, and thats why people that want additional pep out of there NA engines do it.

Its actually the most effective cheapest way to increase power if tuned properly. However an N62 maf is over kill for NA KA I only tune with N60 MAF's. reason being is that the N62 would need more CFM to cool the hotwire, while the N60 uses less CFM to cool the hotwire with the same diameter. For natural aspiration to get the most effeciency out the the engine and engine management the focus is to finely tune within parameters that match fuel injection to CFM.

Nothing much man. About to get out of the 240sx game and move onto a slightly used G35..LOL Newer technology 2 more cylinders and better efficient HP with no boost needed..LOL
