I was wondering if a ka24de and tranny out of a 1995 240sx would bolt up in a 89 240sx coupe?????

 

yes... it'd bolt right up with 0 problems.

 

What about the instrument panel. It is completly different from the s13's. Do I need to use a instrument panel from the s14 or do I use an instrument panel from a s13 with a dohc???? Speedo doesnt read the same.....????

 

Yeah. It will bolt up but thats all it will do without the ECU, wiring harness & I believe a new steering rack.

I know the racks are differnet from 89-90 & 91-up

But like you asked, yeah it will BOLT up fine.

 

I'm doing a 93 KA24DE into a 89 right now engine and tranny bolt up just fine you do have to bend your hardlines around they are on the other side on SOHC and you need gauge cluster harness and ecu for the engine you are installing.
