AGX Shocks and overheating

Alright, I have a 90 fastback, that I have run to hell and back. I just can't get myself to rid of the car. So, now I need to do some dire maintenance. First off, it needs some shocks/struts. Saw a good deal on AGX struts.

What is AGX's reputation? Can these be installed in my '90 model without changing anything else (i.e. stock spring, etc).

Also, car is over heating in hot weather. Changed the coolant and thermostat, but that didn't help. What's next, radiator and water pump? Keep in mind, this only does this in hot weather.

Any help would be appreciated.

AGX can be installed without any other modifications.

Fan clutches have a tendancy to crap out on 240's for some reason. Takea look at that first as it's the easiest and cheapest thing to fix.

I second that. Aftermarket shocks with stock springs is OK, but aftermarket springs (especially ones that lower your car considerably with very diffferent spring rates) with stock shocks is strongly discouraged.

I installed a set of KYB's on my girls civic a year ago and I wouldn't suggest any other's for the price. They are great on her stock springs too, so I wouldnt worry too much about that.
