altima ka24de into 89' 240

Well a long time ago i asked if you could swap a 95' altima KA24DE into a 240sx SOCH and everyone said it was impossible. But I did it i was hard and very strange. If anyone is interested let me know, maybe I'll post some pics.

if you can put a FF 4AGZE in to an FR corolla then that shouldnt be any harder.

LOL, how gay would that be? if I saw someone driving arround and they did a burn out with a 240 and I saw the FW spin, I would be pissed off to the maximum. I would prolly see a guy inside with a cap that said "Type-R". Wow, that would be stupid.

But I think what he did is what everyone does, change the motor from a ka24e to DE. Everyone has done it, so why not from a FWD car? its the same engine right? maybe the mounts and some cables, but nothgin out of shape. Now what I've heard it that FWD engines are designed internally to take diferent G-forces, like havign oil movement stopers that work side to side in a "sideways"Runing motors, and bearigns with small, but important characteristics that make FWD engines work "sideways" in relationship with the car. Now I heard this from a Guy who got no car and thinks Honda.

Now if this principle doesn't apply, and he took and FWD engine to a RWD car, can we then hook up that SR20DE engine from a Sentra (I think its a sentra, don't know what car exactly) That runs in the US, put it in a 240, put in a turbo, BAM!! JDM gansta..... Crazy thought

ok im back! Sorry for the wait. First off IT IS STILL RWD!! U A**HOLES! The mounts did line up and I'm also using the 240sx intake mani and exhaust mani. I will post pics as soon as i furgure out how and maybe I should take some first. I'm NOT stupid or crazy I just really dislike the SOHC I had in it, and had an exta engine from a rebuild with my altima. Oh just so you know I am using an altima head, block and lower timing cover. I do have P/S but do not have a/c . P.S Its not a stupid swap when your not made out of money (like myself for: s13 240) Its pretty fast and its my first 240 and I love it to death. As far as i know I the first to do this so I'm proud of that at least. Thanks for the big response guys!!!!

Whats so hard to understand about this, I have an altima's ka24de head and block inside a 90' 240sx, I will post pics. Get this I even running a distributor from an 85 stanza. I had to extend the distributor shaft to make it reach the imtermediate gear. p.s its an intermediate gear i ordered off a 91 240sx. Sorry this makes so little sense to you people.
