According to the maint manual that someone was kind enough to post, auto trans require a nissan specific fluid, is there a suitable substitute and do you recommend. Also, the manual made no mention of a filter, is there no filter? thanks Carl

u should use the atf that it says to use...if u use something else u can damage the tranny and end up rebuildin and spendin money u could be savin for suspension or a motor!
and theres a filter.....should be in the trans pan...
