Unhappy bad surging during acceleration and big hesitations after that

I need some help. OK I have taken my 92 240sx with a 95 motor in it to nissan and they have said that my car is fine but when i accelerate the car surges/sputters untill it gets going. then if i am crusing a around 35 and i give it more gas it will pull hard and them let off for about 2second what can this be... it is very anoying and make me not want to drive it anymore....

what hyjinx said + plugs... just start with a tune up, it probably needs one anyways.

also try a new fuel filter, a basic tune up should really help, also are you running a 95 ecu or the 92?

You cant really "tell" You should all ready know or the person before you know. Or get the number off the ECU and go to a nissan dealership and see if they can find what car it was on.

alright i got the avi off and the car is running better but i am still have the surging problem but it is not as bad but still very annoying. I don't let others drive my car because of it, and i am kinda ashamed of it. my girl drove it to the store and she said that my 240 sucks azz and that i should have just kept my s/c mki mr2. that hurt me to the hart to hear her say that , but i will prove her wrong....
