I am having the same problem with my 240. It had front end damage and after putting in a new radiator the coolant still looked brown. I just recentaly replaced the water pump and thermostat but it still wants to overheat. I'm starting to think that it's the head gasket. It was not replaced when I pulled the valve cover to check what was popping around in there (turned out to be the guard for the timing chain). What do you all think it is?
