ANy mods to the car? I know when I had an exhaust leak and i would coast in gear from a high RPM or take off hard, It would smell pretty bad in my car.

no cracks on the rubber lines?

fuel only flow thru certain places. best thing i can think of is just trace the fuel line under the car and in the engine bay while sniffing around with the motor running. use caution when doing so of course. last thing i could think of is the charcoal canister and vaccum/vapor hoses.

Yes, the pump is between the trunk and back seats, the easiest way to get to it is to fold down the seat back and pull up the carpet. You then will see a metal cover that needs to be removed, and under that is a circular cover, which is where the gasket is.
